The YETI Crossroads® 27L Backpack is designed for everyday carry that regularly turns into travel: commuting, road trips, air travel, overnights, and city-to-outdoor transitions. At 27 liters, it strikes a practical middle ground—large enough for a full workday loadout plus extras, while staying manageable for crowded transit and carry-on use.

Wide opening and built-in organisation

Instead of a narrow top-loader, this pack is built to open wide for easier loading and unloading. That matters when you’re moving quickly—pulling out tech, grabbing a layer, or keeping your setup tidy in a hotel room. Inside, various organisational pockets help separate small items (chargers, keys, notebook) from bulkier gear.

Tough exterior materials with an easy-clean base

YETI uses TuffSkin™ Nylon, an expedition-grade 700 denier fabric described as water and abrasion resistant, inspired by motorcycle gear. It’s intended to handle frequent set-downs, tight spaces, and the general wear that comes with daily travel.
The bottom is the GroundControl™ Base, PU-coated for durability and easier cleaning—useful when the bag meets wet pavement, dust, or everyday grime.

Carry comfort for long days

Comfort is handled by contoured shoulder straps backed with EVA foam for all-day carry. The no-pressure back panel is engineered to sweep away from the lumbar area, aiming to reduce pressure where a loaded pack often pushes.

Protected laptop storage and quick access to hydration

The Crossroads 27L includes a separate, padded laptop pocket. YETI states the suspended sleeve with wraparound padding will fit most 13” and 15” laptops, adding protection for commutes and travel days where bumps and hard set-downs happen.
For hydration, internal pockets are designed to fit Rambler® 18 oz and 26 oz Bottles, plus up to a 1L/34 oz Yonder® Bottle. Multiple access points allow side-zip entry so you can reach a bottle without digging through the main compartment.

Travel-friendly detail: luggage pass-through

When paired with roller luggage, the luggage pass-through sleeve secures the backpack to a suitcase handle—helpful for airports and long terminal walks.
