Union Ultra Black 2027 Snowboard Binding

The Union Ultra Black 2027 is a men’s snowboard binding built around a clear priority, refined board feel with a smooth balance of comfort, response, and impact absorption. Union positions the Ultra as a next-generation suspension focused binding, where each part is designed to work together rather than in isolation. The result is a binding that feels controlled and responsive underfoot, while staying forgiving enough for longer days and more playful riding.

At the core of the Ultra is an asymmetrical mini disk baseplate, designed to increase torsional flex and allow more natural board movement. Union’s S11 Duraflex ST baseplate removes excess material in the toe and heel to promote 360 degree board flex and feel, giving the binding a more connected, less restrictive ride character. Combined with the brand’s exclusive bushing technology, the Ultra is tuned to flex, rebound, and absorb impact with every movement.

The overall flex is rated at 6/10, placing the Ultra in a versatile medium range that suits riders looking for one binding across freestyle, all mountain, and freeride use. An extruded 3D aluminum heelcup adds structure, while the Duraflex + ExtraGrip footbed keeps the contact point stable and direct.

Finished here in a clean Black colorway, the Ultra combines a progressive ride feel with Union’s established hardware package and proven compatibility. It is compatible with 4x2 and Channel mounting systems via the Ultra Mini Disk.
