Union Atlas Step On® Black 2027 Snowboard Binding

The Union Atlas Step On® is a men’s snowboard binding built for riders who want the speed of a step-in system with the direct feel expected from a performance-focused all-mountain setup. Designed around the Step On® Instant Connection™ System, it offers fast entry and exit while maintaining a precise, secure interface between boot, binding, and board.

This model sits in a versatile position within the Union range. With a stated binding flex of 6/10, the Atlas Step On® balances support and freedom of movement, making it a strong option for mixed terrain, from resort laps and side hits to more committed all-mountain and freeride use. Union positions it across freestyle, all mountain, performance, and freeride categories, underlining its broad application rather than a narrow, discipline-specific setup.

The platform is built around the S1 Step On® Duraflex CB Baseplate, paired with an extruded 3D aluminum heelcup and matching S1 Step On® Duraflex CB highback. Together, these components are intended to deliver a stable and dependable connection with controlled power transfer. Underfoot, the binding uses a Hi-Flex HP EVA bushing and Non-Stick HP EVA gas pedal, contributing to comfort and board feel while keeping the contact zone clean and functional.

For fine tuning, the Atlas Step On® includes adjustable forward lean through an integrated 2-Stage FLAD, as well as an adjustable gas pedal. That makes it easier to dial the binding to your stance, boot length, and preferred response. Hardware is specified as Grade 8.8 steel, and the binding comes without canting.

Compatibility is clearly defined. This binding uses a Step On® 4x2 Disk + Washer and also includes a Step On® Channel Disk, making it compatible with 4x2 and Channel mounting systems. It is also important to note that Step On® bindings are only compatible with Step On® boots.
