Rome Viper Pro 2027 Snowboard

The Rome Viper Pro 2027 is a directional twin built for riders who want a more precise, more aggressive all-mountain platform without moving away from a versatile shape. Its construction combines a responsive profile, added carbon reinforcement, and 3D shaping to create a board that tracks hard, enters turns cleanly, and stays composed when the pace goes up.

At the center of the board is Rome’s Fusion Camber profile, with camber between the feet and rocker in the tip and tail. This keeps the feel powerful and poppy underfoot while adding a more forgiving, maneuverable character at the contact points. The rocker sections also help with float, making the board easier to manage when conditions get deeper or terrain becomes more variable.

The directional twin layout balances all-mountain control with switch-friendly handling. A slightly longer nose adds versatility without taking away from the board’s centered, balanced feel. Rome further develops this shape with Directional Diamond 3D in the tip, giving the nose a spooned profile that improves float, smooths turn initiation, and helps the board move more naturally through mixed terrain. The Directional Double Kick design adds a two-stage directional rise for extra tail stability, more support in powder, and added forgiveness on backseat landings.

Under the surface, Carbon HotRods are integrated into the board to increase snap and response. These thin carbon rods are designed to rebound quickly, giving the Viper Pro a more immediate, energetic ride. Combined with the PopCore, built from 20 mm strips of poplar and 20 mm strips of paulownia, and Triax Glass for added torsional stiffness and pop, the overall feel is direct, controlled, and stable under pressure.

A Tri-Radial Sidecut shapes the turn with three blended radii for smooth edge engagement and consistent grip through the full arc. The result is predictable steering and a more progressive carve. Down below, the SinterStrong Base delivers the speed and durability expected from a sintered base, while remaining practical for regular use across everyday sessions.

Hybrid Camber
