Rome Service Dog 2027 Snowboard
Beschrijving
The Rome Service Dog 2027 is a short, wide and volume-shifted directional snowboard built for deep days, sidehits and creative all-mountain riding. Its compact platform keeps the board quick edge to edge, while the wider shape adds support, float and stability when conditions get soft, tracked or unpredictable. This is a directional model aimed at riders who want to slash harder, turn tighter and make unconventional lines feel natural.
The board uses Fusion Camber, with camber between the feet and rocker in the tip and tail. This profile balances power and pop with a more agile, surfier ride feel. The camber section keeps the board responsive through turns and provides energy out of transitions, while the rocker zones improve float and reduce resistance in softer snow.
The shape package is tuned for directional performance. A longer nose, shorter tail and taper help the Service Dog stay maneuverable and composed in powder, while also reducing swing weight for quicker steering in technical terrain. Directional Diamond 3D in the nose adds a spooned shape that improves float and smooths out turn initiation across variable snow. Directional Double Kick gives the tail extra stability and support, useful when the terrain gets uneven or when landings push you slightly off balance.
Under the hood, Rome combines a Stompcore poplar core with Bamboo Hotrods and Triax Glass. This construction gives the board a stable foundation with a more playful response, especially when pressing, slashing or loading turns. The Bi-Radial Sidecut uses a smaller radius in the nose and a larger radius in the tail for smooth turn entry, strong acceleration and consistent grip through the full arc of the turn.
A durable PowerSlide Base completes the package. It is easy to maintain, straightforward to repair and designed to deliver reliable speed for daily riding. Overall, the Service Dog is a directional all-mountain board with a clear focus, float, fast handling and enough tail support to stay in control when riding gets ambitious.

Hybrid Camber
Hybrid camber gives you camber where it matters, underfoot, with a bit more forgiveness in the nose and tail. That means more control than rocker, but without the same level of punishment as full camber.
