Rome Men's Katana AW FASE® Pro Black 2027 Snowboard Bindings

The Rome Katana AW FASE Pro is built for riders who want the familiar control of a traditional two-strap binding with a faster, more fluid entry system. This 2026/2027 version combines the adjustability of the Katana platform with added carbon response and the speed of FASE Fast Entry System, creating a binding that suits progressive all-mountain riding, park laps, and more committed freeride use.

At the core is Rome’s FASE Fast Entry System, designed to streamline getting in and out without giving up the locked-in feel and tuning options of a regular strap binding. The system pairs the hands-free AutoBack with the one-hand-operable FastStrap and a Locked-In Toe Strap that stays in position once dialed. The result is a quicker routine at the top of the lift and a more consistent setup from run to run.

Underfoot, the binding uses an AsymWrap heelcup layout that supports a more natural board flex under the foot. This construction keeps boardfeel active while maintaining enough structure for stronger input when speed picks up or terrain gets more technical. The Carbon Nylon Baseplate, made from 30% carbon and 70% nylon, adds a more direct transfer of energy to the board, while the forged aluminum heel hoop brings strength and durability without overcomplicating the feel.

Comfort and fit are handled through a practical mix of adjustability and support. The Adjustable Baseplate helps match the binding to a wider range of boot shapes and sizes, and the 2-Degree Dual Density Footbed adds a canted platform for a more natural stance with extra underfoot comfort. Up top, the 15% Glass Highback delivers a mellow medium-flexing ride feel that balances control with enough freedom for varied terrain and riding styles.

The strap package keeps the response consistent. OmniFlex Ankle Straps use an overmolded design with a TPU spine for torsional flex and direct edge-to-edge power, while the ProGrip Toe Straps use a one-piece AuxTech construction for secure hold, comfort, and even pressure across the boot.
