Mudiva Surfboards Haize Mid + Mudiva Silence 1 Twin Set

The Mudiva Haize Mid + Silence 1 Twin Set is a mid-length twin designed for surfers looking for more paddle power and hold without moving into longboard territory. At 7'0 x 21.3 x 2.8 and around 47 litres, this shape is aimed at bigger surfers above 80 kg, or lighter intermediate surfers who are comfortable moving their feet and adjusting trim through the wave. It also makes practical sense for winter sessions, when extra rubber and added weight change how a board carries and accelerates.

This is not a board for weak, ankle-high surf. The Haize Mid is built to work once there is enough energy in the wave to let the outline and twin setup engage properly. Its effective range starts around 2ft and extends to well overhead, with a clear sweet spot from chest high and up. As speed builds, the board comes into its own, offering a stable platform with enough freedom to draw longer lines while still feeling responsive underfoot.

The shape uses 60/40 rails with a touch more volume through the medium rail profile, adding stability and support, especially in weaker North Sea conditions. A low to medium continuous rocker helps the board maintain glide and carry through flatter sections, while the bottom contour moves from mild belly to single and into a V barrel concave. Together, these elements balance flow, drive, and rail-to-rail control across a wide range of wave faces.

Construction is centered around recycled Marko stringerless EPS foam, reinforced with nose and rail patches over a circular stringer, then wrapped in premium epoxy and fiberglass. The finish combines a water-based paint spray on the blank with a white marbled resin tint bottom, keeping the board visually distinct without overcomplicating the design.

The board comes fitted with Future boxes and includes a set of handmade Mudiva Silence fins, completing the setup as intended by the shaper.
