The Mizuno Contender S revisits an archive silhouette first introduced in 1995. Originally developed as a lightweight running shoe with stability and cushioning for entry level runners, it now returns as a refined sportstyle model that preserves its technical DNA.

The upper construction stays true to the original concept, combining mesh and suede for a durable yet breathable structure. In this updated S version, the material mix evolves with a blend of suede and synthetic suede, set against a white base with contrasted eyelets. The alternation between matte mesh and layered suede panels creates a balanced aesthetic, bridging athletic function and everyday wear.

Underfoot, the Contender S features a single density compression moulded EVA midsole. This setup delivers consistent cushioning suitable for both street use and casual daily movement. The outsole uses a one piece solid rubber construction for durability.
