The Merrell Agility Peak 6 Gore-Tex is built for trail running in consistently rough and changeable conditions. It combines waterproof protection, long-distance cushioning, and confident grip in a package designed to stay stable over technical terrain. For runners covering many kilometres on uneven trails, this model focuses on the essentials, traction, support, and reliable weather protection.

The upper uses a combination of breathable mesh, synthetic material, and TPU, balancing airflow with added structure in high-wear areas. A GORE-TEX waterproof membrane with Invisible Fit construction keeps the shoe light and breathable while providing effective protection from wet ground and changing weather. A gusseted tongue helps keep out dirt and trail debris, and the padded collar adds comfort around the ankle during longer efforts.

Underfoot, the Agility Peak 6 Gore-Tex is designed to maintain comfort and control over extended runs. The FloatPro™ midsole delivers durable cushioning with strong energy return, helping the shoe feel responsive without losing stability as the distance builds. FLEXconnect™ bidirectional flex grooves in the midsole improve ground connection, giving the shoe a more precise and adaptable feel on irregular surfaces.

For more demanding sections of trail, Merrell adds protection where it matters. A lightweight, impact-resistant plate under the forefoot helps shield against sharp rocks and unpredictable terrain while still allowing natural movement. This makes the shoe well suited to rocky paths, loose ground, and mixed mountain trails where underfoot protection becomes essential.

Grip is handled by a Vibram MegaGrip outsole, engineered for dependable traction on both wet and dry surfaces. The outsole pattern is shaped to increase traction and shed dirt with each step, helping maintain control when the terrain changes from compact trail to mud, stone, or loose ground. The result is a trail runner positioned for technical use, but still practical for everyday off-road mileage in poor weather.

The lining and footbed components also integrate recycled content, while Cleansport NXT treatment helps control odour naturally. Merrell recommends going up half a size for a better fit.
