The Korua Shapes Apollo is a true asymmetrical snowboard developed to deliver a more natural and ergonomic carving experience. Designed as a next step in Korua’s shaping philosophy, the Apollo removes parallel lines entirely and replaces them with a fully asymmetrical construction that aligns board geometry with the biomechanics of the human body.

Unlike traditional directional boards, the Apollo features an asymmetrical sidecut, effective edge, scoop, and flex pattern. The heelside and toeside are treated independently, allowing each edge to engage more naturally through the turn. Even the nose scoop is shifted by 5 degrees, reinforcing the board’s unique geometry and enhancing flow from initiation to exit. This design creates smoother transitions, improved edge control, and a more intuitive connection between rider and board.

Built to be ridden in regular or goofy specific versions, the Apollo is tuned to deliver its full potential when paired with a positive positive stance. This setup allows the asymmetrical shaping to work as intended, providing consistent pressure distribution and a controlled, fluid turning feel. While switch riding remains possible, the board is clearly optimized for directional carving and high speed control.

Performance is further enhanced through the integration of a carbon weave, adding response and stability without compromising ride smoothness. The board offers a balanced flex that supports drawn out, powerful turns while remaining composed in variable snow. With a 20 mm setback and noticeable taper, the Apollo maintains float in softer conditions while excelling on groomers and open terrain.

The Apollo is available in 157 cm and 162 cm, using a unisex shape and sizing concept. Its sintered base ensures reliable glide and durability across a full season of riding. Designed for riders who value precision, flow, and refined carving performance, the Apollo delivers a riding experience that feels distinct, controlled, and deliberately different from conventional snowboard shapes.
