The shell construction combines several key elements that shape the boot’s ride feel. A Pressure Relief Tongue is designed to reduce pressure over the instep, helping improve comfort during long sessions. FutureFlex Construction supports the overall balance between performance, comfort, and control, while the Articulating Cuff allows the upper and lower sections of the boot to move more independently. This helps limit shell distortion when flexing forward into the tongue, keeping the boot more consistent in motion.

Bataleon also integrates a Seamless Design, Injected Spine, and Injected ToeCap to refine the shell structure. Together, these features contribute to a supportive and durable build, with added rear support for a more stable and responsive ride feel, plus reinforcement at the front for a precise shell construction. Inside, the Internal AnkleHarness helps lock the foot in place for better hold and board control, while Thermal Shield adds extra comfort in cold conditions.
